Madrid Hotel Week 2026: Ten Days to Rediscover Madrid

Presentation of the 10th Edition of Madrid Hotel Week at the Hotel Urso.

From October 6– 15 November , 2026, the tenth edition will celebrate “10 Years, So Much Madrid” with more than a hundred experiences at over 50 hotels. The schedule will be published on October 28 at madridhotelweek.com.

You might walk past that hotel every morning without imagining what’s going on inside. A conversation with writers, a class on how to prepare appetizers, or a jazz session might be much closer than you think. Madrid Hotel Week 2026 invites you to walk through that door and discover new things to do in a city that still holds surprises even for those who know it well.

Organized by the Madrid Hotel Business Association (AEHM), this event brings hotels closer to those who live, work, or study in Madrid, as well as to visitors. Now in its tenth year, the theme “10 Years, So Much Madrid” celebrates that connection with the city and its neighborhoods. If you’re looking for things to do in Madrid in November, this preview will help you figure out where to start.

Nine categories to help you choose your next plan

The program brings together Gastronomy and Cocktails hour, offering culture, wellness, and experiences to share at Family. Here are some of the activities planned for the 2026 edition, with options for a weekday afternoon, a date night, or a weekend with friends.

Gastro and Cocktails hour : A Taste of Madrid

There’s a lot to learn about appetizers. A workshop on gildas and vermouth invites you to discover preserves and pickles while you prepare your own combination. There will also be a collaborative preparation of Madrid-style stew, wine tastings, and a masterclass on artisanal pizza. The tasting menus and the signature “ Cocktails hour ” expand the experience for those who enjoy trying new flavors or revisiting old favorites.

Art & Literature to see things in a new light

The “Let’s Say I’m Talking About Madrid” series will bring together authors to discuss the city and its stories. The “Pleasures of Life” tour at the Thyssen-Bornemisza National Museum will explore leisure and celebration through painting. And if you’d rather create something with your hands, the floral and handcrafted bookbinding workshops offer a great excuse to spend some time on a hobby.

Sports and Wellness: Find Your Rhythm

A Pilates class followed by breakfast, yoga with dinner, or a barre session with brunch let you combine exercise with fine dining. For a more relaxing break, the package includes spa circuits featuring a hammam, sauna, and cold-water immersion, as well as guided meditation and mindful breathing sessions. You can choose the plan that best fits your wellness routine.

Experience & Accomodation to get an inside look at the hotels

Guided tours and open houses bring visitors closer to places that often go unnoticed amid the hustle and bustle of city life. There are tours through art exhibitions that end with a snack, a visit to a hanging garden, and mini-garden workshops. This category also includes lodging options for those who want to turn this outing into a getaway in Madrid.

Family to share our curiosity

Las Llaves de Oro 's " Visitas Españolas" invites families to explore iconic hotels guided by their concierges. It’s an opportunity to discover the hotels’ history and gain insight into the work of those who serve travelers from around the world. Afternoon tea, featuring treats such as a hazelnut Paris-Brest paired with coffee or tea, rounds out the plans to bring different generations together.

Future Plans to Change Brunch Time

What if brunch were enjoyed after dark? “Brunch in the Night” brings this tradition into the evening, with views of the illuminated Puerta de Alcalá. This entry in the “Future” category plays with the timing and ways of enjoying Gastronomy. An idea for those curious to try a different format on their next outing.

Fashion, Shopping, and the Neighborhood: A Way to Learn About Trades

Spanish designer fashion tours take you to boutiques and ateliers to discover local design and the value of artisanal craftsmanship. A hat-making workshop lets you explore materials and techniques while creating your own piece. There will also be a session on winter fabrics, featuring samples of wool, flannel, and cashmere, so you can learn to examine garments more closely.

Music and live performances to make the afternoon last longer

Live jazz and a spritz provide the soundtrack to a leisurely conversation. Terrace performances and DJ sets offer additional ways to enjoy music as part of the program. For those looking to spend a late afternoon in Madrid or go out after work, this category suggests setting aside some time during the week to listen to music and connect with others.

Heritage & History to discover a different side of Madrid

A visit to the Liria “Palacio ” combined with a traditional brunch brings together heritage and Gastronomy. Tours of historic hotel buildings offer a glimpse into their architecture and history, while a talk about the University City and a gathering dedicated to the las Letras neighborhood shed light on aspects of Madrid that deserve a longer conversation.
